Still Life Painting A Silver Lining by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Still Life Painting A Silver Lining by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
24x18x1.5 oil on gallery wrapped canvas. Again the colors are not quite true to life. The vase is more white than blue. I have been painting to prepare for some upcoming art shows I am entering. I will let you know more about them later. Thanks to all who follow my art.

Still Life Pay Attention by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Still Life Pay Attention by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
I love the looseness of this painting It is chaotic but organized. I don't even know how I did that.
12x12x1.5 oil on gallery wrapped canvas. I repainted the rose let's see a zillion times. Well maybe not that many but a few for sure.

Still Life painting Sparkle Rosie by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Still Life painting Sparkle Rosie by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
Actually I got the name for this one after a cat. My nephews little girl named her cat Sparkle Rosie, not sparkle or Rosie but Sparkle Rosie and you better not shorten it. She dragged
that cat around everywhere. Oh to be loved like that. The sparkle of this vase made me think of it. The open pear was another gift from my daughter who searches for the strangest things because she knows that I love them. 20x16x1.5 oil on gallery wrapped canvas.

Cow Painting I Don't Know If I Am Coming or Going by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Cow Painting I Don't Know If I Am Coming or Going by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
I love painting cows. They are truly one of my favorite things to paint. Can I say one more time that I am lousy at taking pictures of my art? This is so much nicer that portrayed here. 20x20x1.5 oil on gallery wrapped canvas.

Still Life painting I See Clear Through You by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Still Life painting I See Clear Through You by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
24x18x1.5 oil on gallery wrapped canvas. I painted this because I do enjoy painting clear glass. I like the loose strokes of the roses in contrast of the crisp glass.

Still Life Painting If That Isn't Love by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Still Life Painting If That Isn't Love by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
I am really enjoying painting rich and loose. Each stroke is a challenge and they don't always turn out like I tell them to. I should have named this you've got to know when to hold them know when to fold them. 20x16x1.5 oil on gallery wrapped canvas.

Still Life painting Butterfly Kisses by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Still Life painting Butterfly Kisses by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
24x18x1.5 oil on gallery wrapped canvas. My sister in law bought me this pitcher at the apple festival in Ellijay, Ga a couple of years ago. It actually has a candle in it. I like the looseness of the roses in the distance. The apple and orange were added for balance of course.

Pet Portrait Isn't She Lovely by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Pet Portrait  Isn't She Lovely  by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
Painting dogs is so much fun. If I paint a commission of course I try to stay with the particulars and go for exact likeness but when I paint because I want to I am free to exaggerate on the things I like.
6x6 oil on canvas panel.
