Cherry Down by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Cherry Down by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
I confess that I always have trouble with cups. I will not quit painting them
but I can't promise anything about the outcome. I do like how the cherry turned out though.
7x5 oil on canvas panel. Still life.

Well Angie, I see no problem but I think that cherry is getting the cold shoulder from those cool porcelain cups.

I love the brushwork in the cups. Nice work.

Hi Angela,
I know what you mean about cups, they can get a bit tricky, like roses. Do more, you're doing great.
I'm starting to believe that we are our own worst critics, thank goodness for artist buddies that keep us on track!

I love the brushworks in the cups also. Stacked cups have been a real challenge for me. You did a great job!
