The name Rushing Things is because It has just been a little too warm for my taste. I really would like a Christmas where you don't have to run the air conditioner but then again any Christmas will do. I have been such a procrastinator these days. I painted several snowmen which I never posted maybe I will post them anyway soon.  I painted these flowers and I would like to say I painted them just for you. I am pleased with the overall feeling of it and I really love the vase. I hope you enjoy looking. For some reason I have a very hard time photographing dark backgrounds. this is a little darker than it actually is. It also seems a little blurred. Maybe better luck next time at getting a clearer representation. This is oil on a 20x6 canvas panel.

I have studied different paintings that I like and have purposely noted what it is that I like about them and that being said I decided to change my background colors at least on this one. I don't think I have ever used these colors for a background before. Also I painted the grapes from models of other painters grapes Purposeful darks and brights and this is what I came up with. I am pleased as I hope you are. This is oil painted on 8x8 canvas panel. Again, I have been using black canvas panels and am really liking the results.

Another painting on a black background. I left some intentional places with a little black peeping through. I am having trouble taking photos of my work lately. This painting was just missing something so I painted the pumpkin reflection and added some more color in the teapot. I am much more pleased with it. What do you think? Also somehow I got the photo without to much glare.

I really enjoyed my time with Mr Pumpkin. I am working on keeping the focus the focus.I had to slap my hand to keep me from adding more detail to the strawberry in the background.

I don't even know how I did this. The sky just seemed to come alive as I painted. I love this painting with the distant Church. This kinda reminds me of the condition our world is in. The color on this one is a little bold in the photo. Not quiet as bright in real life. When I named the last painting kiwi strawberry I just had to paint a sequeal and name it strawberry kiwi. Hope you like.

To say that I love these black canvas panels is an under statement.  I don't even really know why but they just act good to me. When I smear paint on it just falls into place. I love this painting.
