Curb Side children painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Curb Side children painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
20x12 children painting oil on gallery wrapped canvas.
The other day my grandson ran to the curb and promptly sit down to wait on his mom
to get home from work. I decided that anyone seeing him there would think what a nice young man.
They would never guess the mischievousness inside. I just had to paint it. I wanted to call it Waiting On a Woman but figured that was copyrighted or something.

Getting My Feet Wet by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Getting My Feet Wet by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

I attended a workshop with Carol Carmichael in Birmingham, Al. over the weekend. It was wonderful to say the least. I certainly painted differently than my usual. Mostly explored more of a pastel look instead of the bold paints I most often use. Over the next few days I will be posting some of the ones I did at this workshop and afterward while still using the techniques I learned there.
Thanks Carol for such a lovely time.

The Market Place

The Market Place
As shoppers pass by, this little boy is almost unnoticed. He looks around through
the grown up parasols and things and then he spots it, a stuffed toy abandoned by someone else. It is just lying there on the street. He bends and picks it up and now even though he is poor and has no money the little dog becomes his own.
