I have been so busy lately. I participated in Savannahs Christmas on the River then last week I went to New York with my two sweet daughters. We had the best time ever. Anyway I am back to painting now and felt that relaxed nice feeling as I settled in to paint this one.

Wow I really enjoyed my time with this cow. I should say my time with this cow painting. I had such a good day.  I painted this and a rooster and a Yorkie. In other words I didn't get anything else done.

I love this little jewel of a painting. My daughter said " There is no such thing as a long haired cow."

I found the reference photo on morguefile.com a place for artist to find free reference material. I assure you there are long haired cattle as there are long horns and other strange looking animals. Hope you love this one. 7x5 inches oil on canvas animal painting.
