Still Life Painting If That Isn't Love by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Still Life Painting If That Isn't Love by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

I am really enjoying painting rich and loose. Each stroke is a challenge and they don't always turn out like I tell them to. I should have named this you've got to know when to hold them know when to fold them. 20x16x1.5 oil on gallery wrapped canvas.

Snail Mail still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

I am loving painting from actual still life set ups. The little snail was given to me by my daughter. It is actually a salt shaker. It has a frog for the pepper shaker but I decided to leave it out for now. Again I added the cherries to bring the viewers eye back into the painting. 14x11 Oil on canvas panel. I purchased these panels from Hobby Lobby. They are triple primed and took oil quite well. I am pretty pleased with how they worked up. Hope you like this one.
