I painted all morning, animals for the most part on 6x6 canvas but then I decided to do this one. It is a larger painting on 20x20x1.75 oil on gallery wrapped canvas. Sometimes after painting smaller paintings it is kind of intimidating to start a larger one. I really like this one.

24x12 oil on stretched canvas. Another clear glass jar but this one just happens to be blue tinted

glass. What a challenge but I really enjoyed it.

The bottom right corner has glare that I could not seem to get rid of. I love the jar which I did want to be utmost focus. Oil on 20x16 canvas panel.

jar but when I first look I see Mainly Yellow.

Do you remember those wonderful little glass baby food jars?

I am older and have little reason to peruse the baby food isle but the last

time I did go there what I saw was a lot of plastic square boxed. Now just

what can you make out of that. Certainly they do not compare to the glass jars.

Why are we in this jar while y'all are out there? I am worried, I am fretting, I am 

a little sad well that was until I realized that sometimes things are not what they seem. Sometimes when

we are in an unlikely situation it is because we are special. It is because we are chosen.

A Fresh Drink

A Fresh Drink

A little water in a glass offers a fresh drink for this little flower. This painting was very nice until

I did the unthinkable...I dripped it face down in my lap. Yep wet and juicy globs of paint smeared across my

leg but it really is amazing how a image can be maintained even after a critical fall.
