Close To The Beach

Close To The Beach
Boats are so interesting as they float gingerly upon the calm summer water.
They leave reflections of all kinds which make them much more appealing.
I just love them don't you?

The Beach Hut

 The Beach Hut
I have never been on a cruise to a far away place but I do think it is somewhere I would really like to go.
I love the look of the tall palm trees swaying in the breeze. In fact I like the feel as the gentle wind
brushes across my moist damp skin glistening in the summer sun. Really the only places I have ventured to the beach is at Destin, Florida and Gulf Shores, Alabama both beautiful in their own way. Oh yes and I for got the beautiful San Diego where palm trees are everywhere. Anyway This is the painting of the day. Hope you enjoy.I have been painting on these little 6x6 gallery wrapped canvas....Love them. The side view which they allow is wonderful....

I Do Like Palm Trees

I Do Like Palm Trees
In southern California there are palm trees everywhere. Those white stucco houses with those
beautiful rich burnt sienna colored roofs forever stand out against the blue blue sky.
Gotta love it.
I really do like palm trees.

On A Windy Day

On A Windy Day
On a windy day the trees sway in the breeze. The stale air becomes fresh, The grass shifts from side to side and the shadows change with the movement of the trees.
On a windy day the world is fresh.

United We Stand

United We Stand
Don't know why as I looked at these I titled it this. I guess maybe because
as CNN plays on the TV telling me such gloom and doom I think of country and
freedom and family and my feeling interjected into my painting for today.
Who can argue with that..... United We Stand.
