I wanted to paint this. I took this picture because I love the look of Silo's or as some people call them...Grain elevators. At the onset I decided to add a touch of red which is the reason for the small red rectangle out front. The green here is a little brighter than it actually is in the painting.

I am off work for a few days. Hooray! especially after I spent a few days at the Hospital due to being scheduled to work during the winter storms. I ended up having to sleep there. Hope not to do that again any time soon. I would rather be painting.

Just before you get to the Alabama river on the right side of the road

is some silo's. They store grain for feed. Cows live here and are very content.

California is not the only place for happy cows.

I grew up in the deep south. A country road Hwy 84 in face goes from

Grove Hill to Monroeville, Al.   Right before you cross the Alabama river

there is a farm with cows and trees and a silo. I remember it from my childhood and

it is still standing. I always wanted to paint it and now I have
