I know there is a lot of red here but what I see is that long green stem.

I love the pepper of course but I can imagine all sorts of things as I look at that stem.

It is kinda like cloud searching. You can see what you want to see.

If I Were Red

If I were red I would be a good red. Not like an angry wildfire but a

gentle flickering red like a campfire. If I were red I would be bold like the

red in our precious flag. I would run true like the red blood that runs through the veins

of the soldiers who protect us. I would be red like the sweetness of a red strawberry and

yes I would have a little heat like a red pepper which spices up the food it seasons.

If I were red I would be happy because after all red is my favorite color.
