Brown Yard Eggs

Brown Yard Eggs
The crow of a rooster awakens the morning. The hen house
is aflutter with the clucking of the hens. The farmers wife is up early and
heads out to gather the eggs. The eggs golden brown with bright yellow yolks
will be served for breakfast. As any farmer knows Brown Yard Eggs really
                                                                    UNAVAILABLE

Top of the morning to you, Angela! The rooster is a crowing and another day is a brewing. Thanks for the eggs for my omelet. Beautiful picture. Simple and direct. I love the colors.

Beautiful lighting on this painting. I like how it skims the top of the cup. Sunrise is peeking through the window.

You know what they say...."brown eggs are local eggs, and local eggs are fresh." My egg man said no more for the winter. The hens have stopped laying. Now it means I get supermarket, trucked-in eggs.

I love the background - the lights and shadows. You've captured a morning glow, a homey feeling of warmth.
