Single Cup

A cool porcelain cup. Today as I started to paint I wondered what
thing will I capture today. I am always intrigued by shades and shadows.
When I found this cup I knew I had to try it so with brush in hand I
soon began an adventure. An adventure of painting yet another still life.
I painted a single cup.

Very interesting composition, Angela. I really like how the shadow bisects the cup.

I found your blog through carol Reid's site. I find it really neat how you managed to make an ordinary white cup interesting. I'm also an artist, though still at the beginning stages...just now attemptint to get gallery recognition. Going to be following your blog and look forward to seeing more of you art.
