Turnip Head still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Turnip Head still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
There is just something about turnips, and radishes or for that matter any kind of root vegetable that I love. The rich greens and the red purple bulbs are just pleasing to the eye. This is oil painted on 8x8 canvas panel.

Turn-Up

Turn-Up
One vegetable that I do have a hankering for is turnips. They are sweet, strong and just
plain good. I love turnip greens and turnip tops. They are a bit peculiar though.
You really should try them sometime.
