Still Life painting Butterfly Kisses by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Still Life painting Butterfly Kisses by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
24x18x1.5 oil on gallery wrapped canvas. My sister in law bought me this pitcher at the apple festival in Ellijay, Ga a couple of years ago. It actually has a candle in it. I like the looseness of the roses in the distance. The apple and orange were added for balance of course.

Talking Things Over still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Talking Things Over still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
Well! I learned something today. Never Ever be pulled in by free merchandise, They just sucker you in. I recently bought some Gamblin artist oils and they came with this free painting panel. Well... All it did was make me want more so in the long run it will be only cost me more money. Lol... I am to smart for them. I figured out the trick and will resist but it did paint nicely as the oils just glided on. I went to an antique sort of store today. Calhoun County Pickers and bought this little vase. It is actually a sugar and creamer but I only painter the one. I love it but will definitely paint it again soon.
I don't know the exact size of this but close to 6x12 with boxed sides which are also painted.

Morning Blessings still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sulivan

Morning Blessings still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
This was really a challenge but then again aren't they all?
I was undecided as to what fruit I should add but since this was to be breakfast oriented I decided on an orange that is a orange and a half.

Leaf Me Alone still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Lily Blossom by Angela Sullivan

Lily Blossom by Angela Sullivan
I find myself trying to get out of this cup. I know I know I should be happy just sitting here
in just the right amount of water to keep me fresh and crisp. But isn't it true that we are never happy
with where we are. The grass is greener on the other side of the fence. Right?

A Slice Of Orange

A Slice Of Orange
How very nice. Oranges or any fruit for that matter are so sweet to paint.
It is a challenge to capture that translucent look. Maybe I didn't do so hot with it
but I like it anyway. 5x7, oil on canvas panel. For sale or auction at my DPW gallery.
