That Figures

That Figures
Just a bunch of figs. I remember not to long ago my dad had the most beautiful
figs. His trees were always loaded with this special fruit. It is hard to believe he has been 
gone for a year now. I have not been back to the old home place but I do wonder
if those old fig trees still remain.

there are people (like me) who memorize where all the old fig trees are in the neighborhood. You definitely ought to go check them out. Since you live in the south, i'd say those figs are ripe. PS I love the color you gave your figs!

i can't stop looking at this!!! it just draws me in...the rich reds, deep greens and the background that ties them together, to say nothing of your incredible brushwork! an outstanding piece.
