I have seen little paintings like this and always wanted to paint one. This is my chair and I am pleased with how it turned out. It is much prettier than is depicted here. 6x6 oil on stretched canvas. I hope ya'll had a Merry Christmas and I look forward to this coming year. Hopefully it will be a wonderful one.

I have been practicing painting roses. When I started this I knew that I wanted to paint a chair,  and then came the window. The roses were painted as an after thought but definitely was in the plans. This looks a little darker than it actually is. It is really pretty and rich. Still life painting oil on 20x16 canvas panel.

My Space

My Space

My space is a favorite place on this earth. A place not necessarily the favorite of others.

My space is a wonderful space. I can think here and figure out the problems of the world.

Garden Seat

Garden Seat

In the garden right next to the old shed wall sets a weathered blue chair. Unnoticed it may

seem to be abandoned but not so....It is grandmas chair just waiting for her to return and sit among the

tulips. It may be nothing to the bystander but to grandma it is her own special Garden Seat.
