A Quiet Place by Alabama artist Angela Sullivan

Sometimes we just need to go somewhere and relax. Not the hustle and bustle of the city. Just quiet country where life is slower and the songs of birds fill the air. Sometimes we just need a quiet place.

Late Summer Blooms landscape painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Late Summer Blooms landscape painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

I am working on the faded mist of the faraway woods. Of course I had to add a portion of fence. Actually The bottom painting is the first one and I called it done but as I looked closer for a little while I knew the color of the water just was not quite right. The top picture is after I went back and added a darker element to the water giving it a stronger more important look. I like it better anyway. I also added more orange in the water and you just can't go wrong with that right?  8x10 oil on canvas panel. landscape.
