Fine Things

Fine Things
Sometimes we get caught up in having the most fashionable and the best but sometimes the fine things are right before our eyes. An old pitcher and a few old fashioned roses remind me of home. A home from yester year. A home where I used to play with my doll Thumbelina and the items in my play house were old dishes mom let me play with.
All of these were of course the "Fine Things".

Mornin' Angie,
Very nice. Hope you had a great weekend. Rainy start to the week here. Grandson Jacob off to camp for the week and I'm so disappointed for him, we thought the weather was going to be great this week and it flipped on us. He got rained out at camp last year too.

The reflective light on the pitcher is amazing! the colours in the flowers realy make this pop. Your cloth looks better than the one i drew in school! haha

Wonderful still life work Angela! You are right, what we perceive as mundane in life are actually very special and when we look at them with a new eye, we know what we are missing out!
