I Said It Is Red

I Said It Is Red
I just attended a workshop In Birmingham at Alabama Art Supply. The
artist was Amy P Collins
I had such fun. This is a 5x7 oil on panel board.
Love the juicy red of the pear. It really is bright and delicious. She had us paint the
panels black before painting. Loved it.

Love that juicy red! It's so good that you can go to workshops. I'll bet you have a wonderful time and learn lots, too. I've only been to one, years ago and for figure drawing, but it was fun and invigorating. We had to do 1 minute sketches and for me that was a challenge, lol! Lovely work, Angie! :o)

Hi Angela, been a while since I visited any blogs as i have been recovering from knee surgery. Your paintings are beautiful. I may have been away too long, but your colors look brighter and your style somewhat looser, an improvement on your nearly perfect paintings. Beautiful all!
I hope to get back to the brushes soon.
