Midnight Move

Midnight Move
While painting this I was thinking of someone special.
A friend of mine is moving. Her life will change but stay the same.
She will meet new friends but remember old ones. She will experience the
stress of a new job, a new home and a new place. She will be happy yet sad.
We will miss her. I read a saying on another site which I
would like to share with you now.
"When people walk away from you let them go,
Your destiny is never tied to anyone who leaves you,
& it doesn't mean that they are bad people,
It just means that their part is your story is over."
We will miss you Jill

Wow, posted at 2 am! It really was a midnight painting. It is lovely. I like the dark background with highlights catching a few leaves and the side of the vase.

I know that ever since I have visited your blog you have done wonderful work, but somehow you seem to have made a leap to a new place with your recent paintings. They are so vibrant. Not sure how else to say it.
this one is just beautiful.

The red in this painting captured my eye, but the words made me stop in my tracks. Wonderful work!
